Are you a granola lover like I am?! I bet when you’ve eaten it from the store you’ve probably thought once or twice, I bet I could make this at home! Well, I’m here to tell you that you sure can, and that homemade is world’s better than store-bought! Let me show you how super-easy it is to make what I consider The Best Nutty Homemade Granola (GF)!

You’re very likely to have most of the ingredients for this recipe on hand already! And if you don’t have all of the nuts listed in the recipe, you can always swap in more of another kind to try to keep basically the same ratio/ measurements in the recipe! If you want to keep this recipe gluten-free, be sure to use oats that are labeled “gluten-free” and check to make sure all the other ingredients are as well! That gluten can be sneaky!
This is such an easy recipe that is fun to get the kids involved with. My kids have grown up making this with me year after year!
Variations on the Best Nutty Homemade Granola:
Make it NUT-FREE! You can make this granola NUT-FREE by using only seeds such as pepitas or sunflower seeds!
Once you get a feel for this base recipe, you can feel free to play around with different variations! Try adding in chia seeds or flaxseed for a nutritional boost, or even some coconut flakes halfway through baking to get yummy toasted coconut flakes!
Ingredients for The Best Nutty Homemade Granola (GF):
Gluten-Free Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
Walnuts
Pecans
Almonds
Salt
Organic Raisins (or Cranberries)
You’ll also need some parchment paper and a large baking sheet (with sides)
Favorite Granola
Ingredients
- 3 cups Old-fashioned Gluten-Free Rolled Oats
- ½ cup Chopped Walnuts
- ½ cup Chopped Almonds
- ½ cup Chopped Pecans
- ½ cup Pure Organic Maple Syrup
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Organic Ground Cinnamon We love cinnamon so I'll use even more than 2 tsp sometimes!
- ½ cup Organic Raisins You can substitute dried cranberries also!
- Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Cooking Spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300℉
- Cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper and mist with the Organic Coconut Oil Spray
- In a medium-sized bowl, dump in all of your ingredients, mixing well so that everything gets coated with the maple syrup
- Spread out evenly on your baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally
- Transfer your baking sheet to a wire rack and let cool completely
- Enjoy your delicious homemade granola!
- Store in airtight container for about 2 weeks
